Total Time 15 minutes
Servings 4 -8 waffles, depending on the size of your waffle maker

Ingredients

  • 2 cups biscuit mix Bisquick
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cups club soda

Instructions

  1. Heat and grease Belgian Waffle maker.
  2. Add egg to medium size bowl and whisk.
  3. Add oil, club soda, and biscuit mix, and whisk until well combined.
  4. Pour batter into Belgian Waffle maker (batter will be thick) and cook until waffles are golden brown, or until desired crispiness (I set my waffle maker at a 4 out of 5).
  5. Repeat and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

This batter is of an effervescent nature and does not store well, so cook all at once and then freeze the waffles. Heat them in an oven or toaster oven.
Our favorite toppings are syrup, fresh fruit, peanut butter, and powdered sugar!
